Check out this great hotel in Milan!

I’m starting to plan my trip to Milan. I have to travel there for a conference in a couple months and I thought now would be a great time to start researching the hotels in the city.  I stumbled on a really nice place, and I waCitytripnted to share it with you.

When I look for hotels, I generally shy away from the big name brands, but every once in a while I’m pleasantly surprised by a place. This time it was the Best Western Plus Felice Casati.

If you are arriving by train, you only need to walk from the Piazza Duca D’Aosta in front of the main train station doors, along Via Torriani Napo to Piazza Cincinnato. Turn right on Via Lazzarento, and then left on Via Felice Casati. The hotel is on the corner of Via Felice Casati and Via Lodovico Settala.

In terms of amenities, they provide free WiFi internet – a must these days – and a snackbar veranda. The Corso Buenos Aires is only a couple minutes walk away, so you are super close to some of the best shopping in Milan.

With a location like this, it’s perfect. I will be able to attend my conference, explore the city and do a little shopping for those perfect Italian shoes before I have to head home.
